The Water Health Open knowledge (WHOW) project is centred around the implementation of a co-creation program aiming at creating a community of public and private actors at international level to be involved in the identification of use cases of interest and related datasets, and the deployment of the technical infrastructure – European Knowledge Graph – which will link environmental data on water consumption and pollution to health data on disease diffusion.

80 stakeholders, including representatives of the competent authorities in the field of water and health, the scientific community, public administrations and private companies.

The co-creation program was officially launched on May 10, 2021 with a dedicated meeting that saw the participation of about 80 stakeholders, including representatives of the competent authorities in the field of water and health, the scientific community, public administrations and private companies. The participants were able to discuss with the project partners the main issues and the different use cases presented. The inputs that emerged during the meeting were subsequently analysed and dealt with in subsequent meetings with specific stakeholders.

The event received the accreditation from the European Commission as a partner event of the European Green Week 2021.
